Practical GDP for warehouse, distribution and quality staff
Every PCS GDP course is led by trainers who spend their other days walking warehouses and advising wholesalers on real inspections. They know what a temperature deviation actually looks like, where the paper trail breaks down, and how to fix it.
Material is refreshed continuously to track the latest EU GDP guidelines, national rules and inspector focus areas.
What can you learn?
The PCS GDP catalogue runs from warehouse-floor basics through to full Responsible Person training: cold chain, temperature mapping, transport, returns, falsified medicines, the role of the RP, and the quality system that holds it all together. Take the same course as classroom, eLearning, or in-house at your site.
Courses are pitched at three levels so you land in the right room:
- Beginner. For warehouse staff, drivers, junior QA officers and anyone new to pharma distribution. No prior GDP knowledge needed, you will leave knowing the rules, the language, and what your role looks like inside a GDP system.
- Intermediate. For warehouse managers, logistics leads and QA staff with some GDP under their belt. Covers deviations, cold-chain control, supplier qualification and the harder calls that come up when you actually run the operation.
- Professional. For Responsible Persons, RPs in training and senior quality staff. Goes deep on the RP role, batch and shipment release, inspection readiness, and keeping a GDP system audit-ready through change.

Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
Classroom GDP training, open registration
Open-registration GDP courses run year-round in the Utrecht area. Length varies by subject, from a half-day refresher up to a two-day deep dive. Register as an individual; you do not need your company to book a full class.
Groups stay small (typically 7 to 25 seats) so you can put your own situation to the trainer and the workshops actually bite.
Each day is led by senior PCS trainers, with guest contributors from industry and the regulator on topics where it helps. Theory, workshop, application: that is the rhythm.
What is included in a classroom GDP course:
- Lunch (for training sessions longer than half a day)
- Pen, workbook, course materials and tools
- Coffee, tea, soft drinks and snacks
- A PCS Academy GDP certificate, proof for employers and inspectors
- We will send a PDF copy of the slides afterwards

In-house GDP training
Need to train a full warehouse, distribution team or QA group? Bring us to your site. Most in-house GDP sessions run for a day, and it is usually faster and cheaper than sending everyone to a public course.
The format is the same as our classroom courses, theory, workshop, application, but the examples come from your operation: your products, your routes, your temperature data, your last audit findings.

GDP eLearning
Need a focused refresher on a specific GDP topic without taking a day out of the warehouse? An eLearning module does that. Run it from a laptop, at your pace.
Each module runs about 60 to 90 minutes and covers one subject in depth, for example, 'What is GDP and why do we do it?', 'Data integrity' or 'Quality systems for GDP'.
Video, narration and interactive exercises are woven through each module, with quizzes along the way to make the material stick. Most modules are available in both English and Dutch.
Complete the modules and pass the closing quiz and you earn a certificate of participation, useful for your training file and for inspectors who want to see proof.
