Which GDP training courses does PCS offer?
PCS provides a range of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) training courses as in-house, open-enrollment or eLearning. These GDP courses cover a wide range of topics from the basics of GDP to Responsible Person training.
The GDP training courses PCS offers are divided into three levels;
- Beginner. Beginner level training is designed for newcomers to the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Your current level of GMP knowledge could be low or even zero to be able to attend a beginner level GDP training.
- Intermediate. Our intermediate level training offers experienced individuals in pharma & biotech an opportunity to build on their existing knowledge in GDP. Your current experience and skill level in GDP should be at least at a beginner level to attend training at this level.
- Professional. The professional level GDP training allows experienced industry professionals to enhance or refresh their knowledge on GDP. These courses build upon existing knowledge.

Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
Open-enrollment GDP training
You can register for a GDP training. These are held throughout the year in convenient locations across Belgium and the Netherlands. A GDP training is divided into a number of training days; ranging from half a day to two days. There are on average 7 to 25 places available per training. Our GDP courses are held in smaller groups, so that we can guarantee interactivity.
On the course days, lessons are given by various experts from the GDP industry and regulations. The theory is alternated with workshops and other interactive elements.
The following are included in a GDP training:
- Lunch (for training sessions longer than half a day)
- Pen, workbook, course materials and tools
- Coffee, tea, soft drinks and snacks
- A GDP training certificate, demonstrating your participation
- We will send a PDF copy of the slides afterwards
At the end of the GDP training, the participants will receive a certificate of participation. With this GDP training certificate you can demonstrate to the government and your (future) employers that you are sufficiently trained in a certain GDP subject.

In-house GDP training
In addition to open-enrollment training, we also provide GDP training in-house. During these training courses, our experienced trainers come to your company to provide your employees with a course. An in-house training is cost-efficient when a large group of colleagues needs to be trained. On average, an in-house GDP course lasts 1 day.
Because during the GDP in-house training all participants come from the same company, we can go more deeply into certain issues, challenges or cases that you bring up as a company.

We are happy to plan an intake session in which we go through the current questions, wishes, learning goals and the desired result. This way we can offer you the best GDP training. This is followed by a quotation for approval. The offer includes a concept programme which has been compiled on the basis of the intake.

GDP eLearning
Are you looking for a short GDP training on a specific topic? We have eLearnings on a number of GDP topics. On our eLearning platform you will find various GDP courses that you can follow behind your laptop or computer.
During these short training sessions, of approximately 60-90 minutes, we will cover a specific topic, such as; 'What is GDP and why do we do it?', 'Data integrity' and 'Quality systems for GDP'.
The eLearning consists of an interactive interface, in which video, sound and interactive elements are combined. Take quizzes, for example. Our eLearning is mostly bilingual (English and Dutch).
Each eLearning is concluded with a short quiz in which knowledge about the content is tested. If the participant has completed all mandatory GDP eLearning parts and has successfully completed the quiz, the participant will receive a certificate of participation.
