What is a Qualified Person?

When you release medicine to the market you have to be sure that the medicine are safe, of the highest quality and actually work (efficacy). The person responsible for this is the Qualified Person (QP).

The Qualified Person checks how the medicine were manufactured and analyzes the test results. If these results match the required quality, safety and efficacy then the QP releases the batch for the market.
