About René Maassen
René Maassen (pharmacist, University of Amsterdam 1980)
Began in 1981 as production pharmacist at Solvay Pharmaceuticals (at the time Duphar) in Olst, the Netherlands; after 3 years he was appointed head of quality assurance and responsible pharmacist. In 1996 he became Senior Inspector for pharmaceutical companies for the Government Health Inspectorate. He continued in this post until October 2003, when he joined PCS as Director.
